Condolences from Pep Guardiola after Barcelona Attacks
Pep Guardiola, coach of Manchester City, has sent his condolences today to the families of the victims of yesterday's attack in Barcelona and assured that the city "will rise again and will once again show how beautiful Catalonia is".
"My thoughts are with all the people who died. Barcelona will rise again and will once again show how beautiful the country is: Catalonia and Spain," Guardiola said at the City Football Academy (CFA), the training complex of the English team, in the press conference before Monday's match against Everton.
In addition to the 14 fatalities, around a hundred people have been injured in these attacks, in which the terrorists rammed a van into the people on La Rambla in Barcelona yesterday and, hours later, tried to do the same in Cambrils.
