Pep Guardiola, coach of Manchester City, has sent his condolences today to the families of the victims of yesterday's attack in Barcelona and has assured that the city "will rise again and show how beautiful Catalonia is."

"My thoughts are with all the people who died. Barcelona will rise again and show how beautiful the country is: Catalonia and Spain," said Pep Guardiola at the City Football Academy (CFA), the sports city of the British team, in the press conference prior to the Monday match against Everton.

In addition to the 14 fatalities, around a hundred people were injured in these attacks, in which the terrorists hit pedestrians with a van on the Rambla in Barcelona yesterday and, hours later, tried to do the same in Cambrils.
