Villarreal has decided to suspend the presentation of Colombian striker Carlos Bacca, after the terrorist attack that occurred this afternoon in Barcelona. The sports community once again joins together to reject this type of warlike attacks.
Villarreal had planned to make that presentation in the evening, but after the attack, the club decided that it was not the right time to do so. 'After what happened in Barcelona, we think it is not the time for this type of things and presentations, but to be with the victims and their families,' said president Fernando Roig Alfonso.

The Villarreal leader acknowledged that they are not in the mood for this type of acts in such a hard and complicated moment as the one we are seeing in Barcelona and in our country. The 'yellow submarine' has announced that this presentation will take place in the coming days and that the player was the first to understand that it was not the right time or day.

It is noteworthy that the club already experienced a similar situation in the March 11 attack in Madrid, a day when they played a European competition match in the afternoon. That match was against Roma, and Villarreal requested the postponement, but UEFA decided that it should be played.
