The Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) announced today that it is loaning Spanish forward Jesé Rodríguez to Stoke City, of the English Premier League, until June 30, 2018, with no purchase option.

The Canary Island player, 24 years old and arrived at the club in the French capital in August 2016, has a contract with PSG until 2021.

"The club wishes the player the best in this new challenge," the Parisians said in a statement.

Last winter, the Spanish international, who was trained in the lower categories of Real Madrid, had been loaned to Unión Deportiva Las Palmas.

Jesé was in the sights of the Sporting Director of Fiorentina, Carlos Freitas, but the player stopped that transfer, according to the media, because he was interested in going with the British.
