Cristiano Ronaldo selected for the Super Cup
Cristiano Ronaldo is part of the group of 24 players called up by Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane to play the UEFA Super Cup against Manchester United in Skopje, as announced by the Madrid club on its website.
The Portuguese forward, accused of tax fraud in Spain, returned to training on Saturday after playing in the Confederations Cup with his national team.
The four-time Ballon d'Or winner was forced to testify in court at the end of July for tax fraud.
Cristiano Ronaldo stated he would "like to return to England," according to Spanish radio Cadena Ser, thus fueling rumors about a possible departure from Real Madrid.
