The incredible summer transfer market that AC Milan is leading could suffer a remarkable setback
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Italian team could face serious administrative problems related to the transfers of Leonardo Bonucci and Lucas Biglia. The two players are not on the UEFA list of players who will compete in the Europa League for a good reason. The Italian newspaper reveals that the Lombard team is actively seeking guarantees to complete the transfers.
Specifically, the Italian team must pay at least 20% of the transfers and offer financial guarantees to ensure payment deadlines. They only have until August 11th to complete the paperwork if they do not want the signings of Bonucci and Biglia to be canceled. Clearly threatened in this case, AC Milan is very active in this regard and has contacted several insurance companies.
The Lombard leaders have reportedly approached Banco BPM, the club's sponsor until 2019, to find a solution. An attempt that has turned out to be a crushing defeat. The budget does not allow the bank to resolve this issue. Another solution planned by the AC Milan management is to seek a foreign bank or release some of its assets, which seems unthinkable at present. It should be noted that AC Milan had reached agreements of €40 million for Leonardo Bonucci and over €17 million for Lucas Biglia this summer.
