YouTube | The Legends World Cup of Star sixes begins in London this Thursday, a tournament where twelve national teams with retired players participate. And in one of the matches of the first day, Spain and England faced each other.
The Spanish team won the match with a resounding 4-1, but what caught the most attention was the excessive foul of former Barcelona player Carles Puyol against Phil Neville, former footballer of Manchester United.
Everything happened when Neville wanted to control a ball, but did not count on Puyol appearing and giving him a terrible tackle on the knee. Fortunately, the blow did not result in anything serious.
Against all odds, the referee did not even see the aggression and Carles Puyol continued playing as if nothing had happened.
The images of what happened were uploaded to YouTube and went viral on social media within minutes. In this article, we leave you the video, so don't miss it.
