National Potosi seeks victory over Estudiantes de La Plata
The National Potosi team will seek to make their home advantage count against Estudiantes de La Plata, who have not hidden their concern about the 3,976 meters above sea level of the Victor Agustin Ugarte stadium, where both teams will face each other in the second phase of the Copa Sudamericana.

Under the command of Argentine Carlos Leeb, the reinforced Bolivian squad worked tirelessly to receive the Argentine rival, who is favored to advance to the next phase.
To face the new stage of the Copa Sudamericana, the Red Band strengthened their team with Argentine Marcos Ovejero, Brazilian Thiago Dos Santos, Uruguayan Victor Galain, and Bolivians Rosauro Rivero, Aldo Velasco, Ronald Gallegos, and Edgar Escalante. It is likely that Velasco will form a forward duo with Argentine goal scorer Cristian Alessandrini, and that Galain and Rivero will also be part of the starting lineup.

Uruguayan coach Gustavo Matosas and a delegation of 22 players from the Argentine team arrived on Tuesday in the city of Santa Cruz, located 400 meters above sea level. They will travel to Potosi hours before the match to mitigate the effects of the altitude.
The match against National Potosi will mark Matosas' debut on the bench of Estudiantes de La Plata, as the Uruguayan coached Cerro Porteno Paraguayan team until mid-June.
The second leg will be played on August 3 in Argentina.
