AC Milan renews contract with Gianluigi Donnarumma
AC Milan announced the renewal of contract with 18-year-old Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, extending his agreement with the Milan club until June 30, 2021.
AC Milan confirmed the agreement in an official statement in which they defined the closing of this negotiation as "good news for the club, who strongly wanted the signature and insisted on getting it, for the boy and the fans."
AC Milan did not clarify the financial agreement reached with Gianluigi Donnarumma, although the Italian media agree that the goalkeeper will earn around 6 million euros per season and will have a rescission clause of about 75 million euros.
After several weeks of speculation about the future of Gianluigi Donnarumma, who was also among the targets of Real Madrid, the goalkeeper decided to extend his relationship with the club where he trained and made his debut in Serie A (First Division) at the age of 16.
In the last period, Gianluigi Donnarumma also rejected an offer of 13 million euros per season from Paris Saint Germain, which also offered him three luxury chalets and three sports cars, Italian media emphasize.
