It's not for sale. Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, along with a group of American investors, were interested in buying the Tottenham of the Premier League, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. The offer included a sum of 1.1 billion euros for the English club.

But the Tottenham officials quickly rejected any offer. "The board is not in any discussions regarding an offer to buy the club," the club said in a statement.

Other plans. This refusal to negotiate the sale of the club is supported by the team's good campaign, as they prepare to play in the next Champions League. In addition, the club has already confirmed the construction of its new stadium, which will be financed by a consortium of banks.

Facebook seems to be increasingly interested in football. A few weeks ago, the company confirmed an agreement with the Fox network to broadcast some Champions League matches live on the social network, initially only for the United States.
