The former forward of Bolivar and Santiago Wanderers had also been tempted by Universidad de Chile and Colo Colo.
After a successful campaign at Bolívar, forward Ronnie Fernández will take the big leap of his career and move to the Middle East football. Al Feiha FC club from Saudi Arabia offered two million dollars for the striker, a sum that would be accepted by the Bolivian champion.
"An offer has arrived for Ronnie for two million dollars, and Ronnie has decided he wants to go for a better economic offer. The contract is not signed, but I think the deal will happen," announced Marcelo Claure, club president, on his Twitter account.
If this transfer of the Chilean forward, who was trained at Santiago Wanderers, is completed, it would be the most expensive transfer in the history of Bolivian football.
