The Argentine football star, Lionel Messi, will marry his lifelong love and mother of his two little children, Antonela Rocuzzo.

The event will take place in his hometown of Rosario and in the presence of all of the 'Pulga's' friends, who have come from different parts of the world to be part of the most important day in the Barcelona star's life.

One of the most special friends, undoubtedly, is Diego Vallejos, who is one of the few childhood friends who knows them both, and also the only one who will attend the so-called “wedding of the year”.

Diego Vallejos, neighbor and close friend of the Messis, told AFP that Antonela and Lionel met in 1996, on Estado de Israel Street where they grew up in working-class conditions. He "fell in love at first sight and forever," said the only confirmed childhood friend at the wedding of the year.

"I knew Leo before he was Messi, and we have always had memories with Antonela in the neighborhood, like Leo's girl," added Vallejos.

Diego Vallejos also added that the beautiful bride of Lionel Messi is a very simple woman, "she is a very simple and friendly girl who has never changed her way of being."
