Argentinian soccer player Ezequiel Lavezzi attacks opponent during match
Hebei's Ezequiel Lavezzi, the only Latin American player on the team and the second highest paid player in Chinese football, is a key player for his team in the Chinese Super League and is determined to lead them to first place. However, sometimes the Argentine player loses control and attacks other players, as we saw in the latest match against Evergrande in a video that was uploaded to YouTube.
With the score against them after goals from Ricardo Goulart and Alan for Evergrande, Lavezzi became frustrated and deliberately kicked his opponent. The Chinese player immediately reacted and confronted Lavezzi for his foul.
As can be seen in the video, Lavezzi attacks the player while the ball is in play, but he has no intention to steal the ball.
Lavezzi only received a yellow card and the game continued. Evergrande is currently the leader of the Chinese Super League with 37 points, nine points ahead of Hebei.
