Cristiano Ronaldo does not intend to pay the 14.7 million to the Tax Agency [VIDEO]

Gestifute steps up against the rumors saying it would happen immediately. The continuity of Cristiano Ronaldo in Real Madrid remains uncertain.

Cristiano Ronaldo does not plan to pay the €14.7 million that he allegedly defrauded the Tax Agency, as stated in the complaint by the Public Prosecutor's Office, before appearing in court at the Court of Instruction number 1 of Pozuelo de Alarcón (Madrid) on July 31st and therefore maintains his position in the lawsuit, confirmed sources from Gestifute, the company that represents the football player.

In this way, the company that handles Cristiano's affairs responds to the continuous comments about the immediate payment of the €14.7 million demanded by the Tax Agency.

The football player, after the conflict with the Tax Agency arose, hired the services of the Baker & McKenzie firm where lawyers José María Alonso Puig and Luis Briones lead Cristiano Ronaldo's defense.

Cristiano has been summoned at 11 a.m. on the last day of July by the judge investigating the case, Mónica Gómez Ferrer, as an investigated person, as communicated by the Superior Court of Justice of Madrid (TSJM).

The Public Prosecutor's Office accuses Cristiano Ronaldo of creating a corporate structure to knowingly and voluntarily defraud €14.7 million and charges him with four crimes against the Public Treasury committed between 2011 and 2014, which represent a fraud of €14.7 million.

Cristiano Ronaldo is currently in Russia playing the Confederations Cup, a tournament in which he has been chosen as the best player in the two matches played by his team against Mexico and Russia, in which he scored the winning goal.

He faced the tournament with the displeasure of this accusation and even, as reported last Friday by the Portuguese sports newspaper "A Bola", he would have the intention of not playing in Spain again, although the president of the Madrid club, Florentino Pérez, plans to resolve this situation when the competition ends.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who has not publicly expressed himself about this issue apart from stating that he has a "clear conscience," declined to answer journalists' questions about these events after the match against Russia.
