Brazilian fullback Dani Alves on the verge of terminating his contract with Juventus
The Brazilian fullback Dani Alves is on the verge of terminating his contract with Juventus of Turin, after the relationship with the Italian club broke down due to some controversial attitudes of the football player, reports the Italian press on Tuesday.
"Eviction of Dani Alves", today's headline in the Turin newspaper "Tuttosport," which opted for a play on words to underline the latest controversial statements and social media posts by the Brazilian football player.
Alves' representatives met with Juventus executives on Monday and will soon make the player's departure official, as he is sought after by several English clubs, including Manchester City led by Spanish coach Pep Guardiola.
The Brazilian, former Barcelona player, caused controversies within the Juventus environment after a recent interview with a television channel from his country in which he advised Argentinean Paulo Dybala to leave the Turin team in order to continue improving.
Alves also posted a photo on his Instagram account last Sunday of the boots he wore in the final of the Champions League in 2015, when he was wearing the Barcelona shirt and defeated Juventus in Berlin.
Juventus has already started looking for a replacement for the Brazilian at right back, and among the analyzed profiles is also the Spanish player from Arsenal, Héctor Bellerín.
