In Azul Azul they recognize the interest in the forward, who in the last season played for Unión Española. Universidad de Concepción, the owner of the player's rights, is only willing to transfer the entirety of the economic rights.
Diego Churín will not continue in Unión Española and in Universidad de Chile they admit the interest in having the Argentine forward. In Azul Azul they highlight the scoring ability of the footballer from Pergamino, who scored 16 goals considering the two tournaments of the season, and also his physical conditions, which could perfectly complement the qualities that Felipe Mora offers to the attacking line.
"He is a great forward. I know him. He played more minutes in Unión Española. He is an interesting player, he has projection because of his age. He is one of the players we are following," said the sports manager of the Clausura's champion, Ronald Fuentes.
If the university club wants to satisfy Guillermo Hoyos' desire, they will have to negotiate with Universidad de Concepción, the owner of the player's economic rights. And from the region of Biobío they establish a categorical stance: the transfer will be negotiated for a minimum of $1.5 million.
Another certainty: El Campanil is not willing to transfer a percentage of the player's rights. Recent experiences motivate them to change their business model. "The percentages have not given us good results. There is the case of Gustavo Lorenzetti, who could never leave Universidad de Chile. We want to sell Churín's complete rights," says Mario Rodríguez, president of the club's football branch.
In the south, they know about the U's aspirations. However, they affirm that they are not the only ones interested in the player who formed a formidable offensive duo with Carlos Salom. "There are selling options for Churín in Mexico and Europe. We will decide on the most convenient one," Rodríguez points out. In the same line, Avios Soccer, the agency that represents the player, had also expressed themselves, discarding staying in Unión Española as they aspired to a considerable salary improvement.
