The good semester that Rafael Caroca had at Deportes Iquique led him to be one of the main protagonists of the transfer market in Chilean soccer.
Indeed, the coach of the "Dragones Celeste", Jaime Vera, has already stated that the departure of the midfielder is imminent, considering the player's desires and the interest of two important national teams: Universidad de Chile and Colo Colo.
And despite having been formed in the Colo Colo team, "Rafa" does not rule out defending the blue jersey, the current champion of soccer that will make an important financial offer to keep his services.
"I couldn't close the doors to 'U'. As a professional, I would like to play anywhere they want to count on me," said the 27-year-old player in a dialogue with AS Chile.
Regarding Colo Colo, Caroca is also open to the possibility of returning, although his departure from the Monumental was not friendly, considering that he was not considered for the first team and was relegated to the youth team.
"I am professional and welcome wherever I am wanted. There is no resentment towards Colo Colo, it is the club that formed me," he said.
However, the midfielder is wanted: "Regardless of the club, it fills me with pride that there are interested teams, it's tremendous joy. I am doing things in the best way and growing."
For now, Caroca is focused on the Copa Libertadores, where this Thursday he will face Guaraní with the mission of winning to secure Iquique's place in the round of 16.
