Chelsea was crowned Premier League champion for the sixth time in its history on Friday by winning its visit to West Bromwich Albion (1-0) and taking a 10-point lead over its closest pursuer, Tottenham, with three games left.
The Belgian forward replaced the Spanish Pedro in the 76th minute and 6 minutes later scored the winning goal for his team, allowing the Italian Antonio Conte's Chelsea to regain the Premier League title that was taken from them by Leicester City last season.
Conte can emulate Ancelotti. Antonio Conte becomes the eighth foreign coach to win the English league title in its 119-year history, and could emulate his compatriot Carlo Ancelotti by winning the double in his first season in charge of the Blues, if he manages to win the FA Cup in the final against Arsenal.
