FC Barcelona continues to search for a new left back
Although the club's main target, Frenchman Theo Hernandez, rejected the possibility of joining Camp Nou to say yes to their eternal rival, Real Madrid, the board does not give up on recruiting a player who can improve that area's performance.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the main alternative is Ricardo Rodriguez (24 years old). The Swiss player has been on the agenda of the Catalan team for months and his performance has already been closely examined by Robert Fernandez, who has not hesitated to give his approval to signing him.
Although the player has already expressed his desire to leave Wolfsburg, the team he has been with for six seasons, the Barcelona entity has decided to consider other options in case the player succumbs to any of the other tempting proposals he has received from AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, and Arsenal.
In this sense, along with the Swiss player, the names of the Frenchman Benjamin Mendy (AS Monaco, 22 years old), the Mexican Miguel Layun (Porto, 28), and the Spaniards Juan Bernat (Bayern Munich, 24) and Alberto Moreno (Liverpool, 24) appear in the Barcelona agenda. Who will be chosen?
