The Ajax of Amsterdam
The Ajax of Amsterdam has been the birthplace of great talents throughout its history. In almost every generation and season, we have found players in their ranks who either shone at this club or did so in other teams later on. In fact, a few days ago we made an ideal starting eleven of those who are still active.
Now that this club is fighting to reach a continental final again (they will have to overcome Olympique Lyon to play in the Europa League), they do so with a group of young talents that interest a great number of the main European squads and that will generate a lot of talk during the summer. In fact, many of them already have top-level suitors, such as FC Barcelona or Real Madrid.
The goalkeeper André Onana (21 years old); the defenders Matthijs de Ligt (17), Davinson Sánchez (20), or Jairo Riedewald (20); the midfielders Davy Klaasen (24), Donny Van de Beek (20), or Hakim Ziyech (24); and the forwards Mateo Casierra (20), Kasper Dolberg (19), or Justin Kluivert (17).
We have heard a lot about all of them in recent months, and it seems that the same will continue to happen. Because surely more than one of them will end up being the protagonist of a significant transfer in the summer.
