Moises Caicedo is not included in the Chelsea squad for their match with Wolverhampton Wanderers because of illness, football.london understands. The Ecuador international has not travelled to Wolverhampton on Christmas Eve, with Enzo Fernandez also missing from the squad.
Djordje Petrovic starts in goal, with Malo Gusto, Axel Disasi, Thiago Silva and Levi Colwill in front of him. It's then a midfield duo of Lesley Ugochukwu and Conor Gallagher, behind Cole Palmer, Raheem Sterling, Armando Broja and Nicolas Jackson.
Enzo is also ill. The Argentine international came off in the win against Newcastle United in midweek because he was not feeling too well and he has not travelled to the west Midlands.
The Blues came through a gruelling 90 minutes on Tuesday night, where they ended up progressing via a penalty shootout. Mauricio Pochettino, when speaking in his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon, highlighted the significance of the win against a top team like the Magpies.
"Very important thing for us," the Blues boss said. "We need to show we are clever and have experience to use in the future. Every game is different.
"Different competition. It's part of the process to grow and to improve like a team. Was really important, step by step, we are building something good. Still far away. We are up and down but we are doing things that are positive for the future."
