Brighton wants to recover from their defeat in the Europa League against AEK and will seek a victory against Bournemouth in the sixth matchday of the Premier League. Ecuadorian defender Pervis Estupiñán will be a starter again with the Seagulls in this domestic English competition.
The Ecuadorian team is doing well in the Premier League: they have accumulated four wins and one defeat, so they are in the upper part of the table. A victory against the Cherries, who are located in the lower zone, could leave them as Manchester City's closest rival.
Estupiñán rested in the previous matchday, when Brighton defeated Manchester United at Old Trafford. Manager Roberto De Zerbi did not consider him after his activity with the national team, as he played the full 90 minutes in the matches against Argentina and Uruguay.
The Ecuadorian has two assists and one goal in five matches and hopes to increase his statistics. De Zerbi aims to recover the team after a painful debut in European competitions.
"We feel sorry for the fans. We felt that it was a different day, a historic day for us, and we wanted to make everyone happy. We have to be proud of how we played," said the Italian coach.
