After his debut defeat against West Ham, Moisés Caicedo returned to training at Chelsea ahead of the match against Luton Town for the third round of the Premier League.
The Ecuadorian did not have the best performance in his new team, as he committed a penalty and suffered the loss in the London derby. However, he has already started thinking about his second commitment.
This Tuesday, Moisés trained with his teammates and, as reported by the club, "continues to adapt after his arrival from Brighton."
Caicedo could start as a starter next Friday for the first time, as Chelsea has a large number of absences. There are eight in total: Carney Chukwuemeka, Reece James, Christopher Nkunku, Wesley Fofana, Benoît Badiashile, Armando Broja, Trevoh Chalobah, and Marcus Bettinelli.
Caicedo was self-critical of his game through a message on Instagram, in which he assured that he will continue working to find his best version.
Among the comments was that of Argentinean Enzo Fernández, his new midfield partner. "It's not about how it starts, but how it ends. Let's go all the way, brother! We will work together," wrote the world champion.
In the next match, Chelsea hosts Luton Town at Stamford Bridge and it could be the game in which they both start together.
