The Brentford won the modest west London derby by defeating Fulham, with Mexican Raúl Jiménez, 3-0, with goals from Yoane Wissa and Bryan Mbeumo, who scored a brace.
The Bees, who put pressure on Tottenham Hotspur in the first matchday, defeated Fulham at Craven Cottage, where everything went wrong for the latter. On the verge of halftime, when both teams were content with a 0-0 draw, Issa Diop gave the ball away to Wissa who dribbled Leno and scored the 0-1.

With the disadvantage on the scoreboard, Fulham struggled to create chances and in the 63rd minute, their sentence arrived. Captain Tim Read pushed Wissa when he was about to shoot, resulting in a penalty and a second yellow card for the German, who headed to the locker room.
Mbeumo converted the 0-2 from the penalty spot, and in stoppage time, he completed his brace to finish off the match. This result leaves Brentford with four points after two matchdays, in a Champions League position, waiting for the rest of the results. Meanwhile, Fulham has three points after winning their opening match against Everton.
