Ecuadorian Jeremy Sarmiento had another minutes with his new club, West Bromwich Albion. His team said goodbye to the English League Cup, after losing 2-1 against Stoke City.
Sarmiento was a substitute and entered at minute 74, when Albion was already behind on the scoreboard. In the time he played, he tried to take on, as with the score against them, they had to try to equalize.
However, those minutes were not enough for him to have a greater impact and his team said goodbye early from the tournament. Sarmiento is looking to earn the starting position and has had minutes in two matches, after his inactivity due to his injury.
On Saturday, August 12, starting at 09:00, they will play their first home game against Swansea in the Championship.
