This Sunday the Community Shield will be disputed as the inauguration of the season that is about to begin in the Premier League, where Arsenal will face Manchester City at Wembley Stadium at 09:00 hours.
The winner of the Premier League and the second place team will face each other in the north of London for the traditional 'curtain raiser' of the English season, a title of little reputation, but attractive due to the potential of both teams and their fans.

Both teams are once again expected to have leading roles in the competitive Premier League, now in the 2023-2024 season, so the Community Shield serves as a rehearsal prior to the start of the championship.
However, on paper, Manchester City arrives as the favorite in this match after their impressive performance in the various competitions they played in the previous season, including the conquest of the Champions League.
Similarly, Manchester City will enter this match without the footballer Kevin De Bruyne, who remains inactive almost two months after his muscle injury suffered in the Champions League final. Therefore, the team led by Pep Guardiola looks to Erling Haaland as a reference.
