Manchester United's Ambitions for the Upcoming Season
Qualifying for the Champions League meant an injection of ambition for Manchester United. Accustomed to experiencing failure after failure at the international level in recent years, Erik ten Hag's project began to take shape at just the right moment. Although they weren't able to compete for the Premier League title, they are confident that things will be different this upcoming season. However, after crunching the numbers in their budget for this transfer market, they are forced to part ways with some players.
So far, they have only been able to announce the signing of Mason Mount from Chelsea for 60 million pounds. This leaves them with a budget of 120 million, and in order to increase it, they will have to sell players. One of the players on the transfer list is Harry Maguire, so the first alternative will be to find him a new club.
