The popular 'Apache' revealed for the first time the reason why he never adapted the English language during his seven-year football career in England.

Carlos Tévez was one of those footballers who always showed a great level in the team he represented. The 'Apache', as he is known in the football world, showed a great level in Argentine and Brazilian football, which is why he emigrated to the 'Old Continent', where he wore the shirts of clubs like West Ham, Manchester United, Manchester City and Juventus. However, many of his followers remember with nostalgia his time at the 'Red Devils' in 2009, specifically when he was asked on camera if he would continue at the club, to which he replied with the phrase: "Very difficult". His pronunciation was something that was talked about a lot in the country's main newspapers, as it was not correct. However, years after that moment, the Argentine dared to reveal the reason why he never wanted to learn English

"I had a cultural problem with the English, I didn't want to learn English, I wanted them to learn Spanish", were the first words of the former professional footballer in an interview with DSports Radio.

He also said: "There is always a reason, I have an uncle who played for River, the only River fan in the family, he played in the reserve team. When he was about to make the leap to the first team, the Falklands War started, the army called him and he couldn't play in the first team".

Carlos Tévez revealed more details of his decision and pointed out that he never wanted to relate to English culture. "Since that moment he felt bad and became alcoholic, very close to my dad, he felt very bad after the Falklands and he was very close to me... and I was left with that. Playing seven years in England was taken as a job, but I didn't want to adjust to the English culture", he pointed out.

However, the 'Apache' pointed out that only his inner circle knew about this story. "Everything has a reason, it wasn't that I liked to take a nap and not learn the language, there are very few people who know this story, but today I can tell it... that's it, you want to talk to me, well learn Spanish, I'm not going to learn English", he concluded.

The titles Carlos Tévez won in England

After a good level at West Ham, Carlos Tévez caught the attention of big teams in England. In this way, he arrived at Manchester United in 2007 and quickly won the love of the fans. In just two seasons, he won two Premier League titles, a Champions League, a Club World Cup, a Community Shield, and an FA Cup.

However, his relationship with Sir Alex Ferguson was not very good and, after failing to reach an agreement in 2009, he signed with the 'Citizens'. Here, in four seasons, he won a Premier League title, an FA Cup, and a Community Shield. In fact, in the 2010-2011 season, he became the top scorer in the English league.
