Diego Elías leads the world squash ranking. The PSA World Tour officially announced the new positions in this sport, and the Peruvian appears as number 1 after the conclusion of the British Open held in England.
“It's official: Diego Elías is the new world number 1. The first South American player to lead the PSA World Ranking,” the PSA World Tour wrote along with a photo of the national athlete.
Diego Elías displaced the Egyptian Mostafa Asal at the top of the international ranking, who did not participate in the British Open in England due to suspension.
