Millions of people on social media have been captivated by a boy from the United States whose reaction in his first hockey game went viral immediately, where the majority stopped paying attention to the athletes.
It all happened in the city of Detroit, Michigan, during an NHL match between the local Red Wings and the Vancouver Canucks, and the home fans booed every time the Jumbotron (a huge television screen) focused on the visiting fans, but the boos changed to cheers when they focused on George, a 4-year-old boy who was attending a game of this tough sport for the first time in his life.
Chelsea Miller, the boy's mother, told KMOV that her son didn't understand why people were applauding him: "He didn't know it was about him. He kept saying, 'the red team is winning'".

"It's my first game"
This is the reason why George remained completely serious every time the cameras focused on him, but in the end, he couldn't help but give a shy smile that won over everyone in the stadium, so there were many who surrendered to their new idol.
"There were probably at least 100 people who asked to take pictures with him and give him high fives and even 'can you give me an autograph?'... everyone made it so special for us", says Chelsea about the little boy who also held a sign that read: "It's my first game".
