Jurgen Klopp regrets not signing Heung-min Son
The Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, has admitted regretting not signing the South Korean player, Heung-min Son, from Tottenham.
"One of the biggest mistakes of my life was not signing Son. He is an outstanding player, a world-class player, and one of the best forwards in the world", Jurgen Klopp said in an interview for KBS World TV. The German coach goes back to 2015 when he was the manager of Borussia Dortmund and Son was playing for Bayer Leverkusen.
In addition, Klopp took the opportunity to express his happiness about the news of Son's presence in Qatar 2022. "I have heard that he is doing well. That makes me very happy. Maybe he will need to wear a mask, but even with a mask, he will be fine", he said.
