Davinson Sánchez is not having a comfortable season at Tottenham, as besides not having the support of Antonio Conte, every time he plays he tends to make some mistakes that leave him exposed. This time he was again a starter against Newcastle United in round 13 of the Premier League, and the criticism towards his low performance were not long in coming.

The Colombian started the game against 'The Magpies' because Cristian Romero was ruled out due to a muscular injury. When it was thought that Davinson would take advantage of his opportunity to make an impact, the opposite happened and his lack of continuity was evident in some specific plays.

Jamie O'Hara, former player of 'Spurs', didn't hold back in his comments about the level of the former Atlético Nacional player. For the Englishman, the money that the London club paid for him was an exaggeration, since during all this time he has done nothing but show that he is not at the level for a competition like the Premier League.

"Romero gets injured and you have to play with Davinson Sánchez, who I honestly don't know what he plays like. How did we pay £45 million for him! I'll never know, he's an accident waiting to happen. It's ridiculous how mediocre he is, and he puts everyone on edge when you play it back to him in the team," O'Hara said in a recent interview with the British media 'talkSPORT'.

Likewise, the former footballer criticized Tottenham's current football moment and the defensive facilities they usually give to their rivals, which is why they lost against Newcastle: "Everyone looks so bad! If you don't have Romero and Ben Davies in that defensive line, don't even bother playing from the back. We are a disaster," he concluded.
