With hat-tricks from Norwegian Erling Haaland and Phil Foden, Manchester City came out victorious with a spectacular 6-3 win over Manchester United on Sunday in the standout match of the ninth round of the Premier League.
In the 7th minute, Bernardo Silva found himself unmarked and assisted Phil Foden, who placed the ball in an impossible angle for Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea with a left-footed shot.
At the end of the first half, the 22-year-old English forward (44') scored again in the visitors' area with a subtle finish after a lethal counterattack led by Erling Haaland.
In the second half, when the score was 5-1 in favor of Manchester City, Foden scored again at the Etihad Stadium thanks to another assist from Haaland: with a left-footed shot into the top corner, the young striker completed his hat-trick against the city's archrival.
