Fulham enjoyed a positive start to the season and will be full of confidence as they make the trip to the City Ground to face Nottingham Forest on Friday (kick-off, 8pm).
The Cottagers have held their own in every game they have played in the Premier League so far and Marco Silva’s side look capable of retaining their place in the top half of the table come Monday.

Fulham to keep up positive start
While there is still a long way to go in the season, Fulham have made a promising start in their bid to retain top-flight status for next term.
The Cottagers have bagged eight points from their first six games and go into the weekend 10th in the Premier League.
Despite a summer of extravagant spending, the same can’t be said for Forest, who are on a run of three consecutive defeats heading into this clash.
A 3-2 defeat by Bournemouth last time out will have been a particularly tough result to take, given Forest were two goals to the good at the City Ground with 50 minutes played.
The Cottagers have been lacking at times on the road but earned a 4-0 win over Forest at the City Ground last season. It would be no surprise to see an away win in the East Midlands on Friday night.
Tip: Fulham to win @ 8/5 with Betfred
Forest lacking cutting edge
Forest have failed to score in three of their six Premier League games this season and they might well draw a blank against Silva’s side.
After 21 new arrivals over the summer it is understandably taking time for players to settle at the City Ground under Steve Cooper.
The Welshman has already proved himself to be a promising manager and it’s his biggest test yet to get his new recruits to gel as quickly as possible.
In the previous five meetings between the side backing ‘Both teams to score – No’ would have landed on four occasions. This might well be another encounter in which Forest draw a blank.

Mitrovic an unstoppable force
Aleksandar Mitrovic has enjoyed the positive start to the campaign Fulham fans will have been hoping for, the Serbian striker scoring six goals in as many league games.
The 28-year-old has been prolific for Fulham in recent years and he is likely to cause the Forest defence problems.
With his movement in the box and eye for goal, the centre forward has found the back of the net in each of Fulham’s past four league outings, against Brentford, Arsenal, Brighton and Tottenham.
Mitrovic, who is second in the Premier League goal charts behind runaway leader Erling Haaland, bagged a brace on his most recent visit to the City Ground in that 4-0 victory and looks well priced at 11/8 to score at any time on Friday.
Tip: Aleksandar Mitrovic to score at any time @ 11/8 with Betfred
