Chelsea bans fan for life for racist insults against Son Heung-min
The English club has banned a fan for life from entering Stamford Bridge stadium after he made racist insults against Tottenham's attacker, Son Heung-min, last Sunday during the match between the two London clubs, which ended in a 2-2 draw.
Chelsea Football Club has identified and permanently banned the season ticket holder following our statement earlier this week regarding racist insults during the match against Tottenham last Sunday.
Lifetime bans have been imposed in recent years against fans for racist insults.
In addition, Chelsea also launched the "No to hate" campaign in the spring of 2021, against any form of racism, anti-Semitism, and discrimination in football. AFP
