Amin Magrabi: Leading Fashion Eyewear and Eye Care Specialist

Amin Magrabi is the CEO of Magrabi Group, the leading fashion eyewear and medical eye care specialist with over 130 stores across the Middle East.

With 32 locations in the region, the company provides eye care to more than 1 million patients and performs over 100,000 sight-preserving surgeries annually.

Thanks to Magrabi’s leadership, MAGRABi Retail has become the top high-end optical retailer in the Middle East.

As CEO, Magrabi is using his position to influence social change in the region. Under his guidance, MAGRABi recently opened Riyadh's first female-only store, and he has implemented a top-down approach to achieve gender equality throughout the business by 2025.

In addition to being CEO of Magrabi Group, he has also served as chairman of Magrabi Hospitals and Centers and the Magrabi Foundation since 2019. He brings over 20 years of experience to the company.

After studying at Brown University in the US and the London Business School, Magrabi started his career in financial services in 1995 as a senior retail broker for Flemings Investment Bank in Cairo. During his time in the UK, he became a passionate supporter of Liverpool FC before moving to New York to work as a mergers and acquisitions associate for JP Morgan.

Magrabi is also a public speaker and an active member of the Young Presidents Organization.

He sits on the boards of Al-Amin Medical Instruments Co., IKEA Saudi and Bahrain, Africa Eye Foundation, and ARP Global Capital. Additionally, he serves as the Middle East and North Africa board member of Room to Read.
