White smoke! Manchester United announced on Monday, November 29th, the hiring of German coach Ralf Rangnick as interim manager after the Red Devils dismissed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The German strategist will take charge of the first team until the end of the season. Afterwards, he will assume a consultancy role for the institution for the next two years, as announced by the Red Devils.
"Manchester United is pleased to announce the appointment of Ralf Rangnick as interim manager until the end of the season. After this period, Ralf and the club have agreed that he will continue as a consultant for two more years," Manchester United informed on their official website.

Furthermore, Ralf Rangnick couldn't hide his excitement about managing Manchester United and hopes to finish the season at the top.
"I am thrilled to join Manchester United and focused on making this a successful season for the club," said the German coach who forged his coaching career in the Bundesliga.

One of the members of Manchester United's staff who praised the arrival of Ralf Rangnick was the Director of Football, John Murtough.
