Report has surfaced on a French news source that Luis Enrique was never a fan of Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, and more so the Spaniard didn’t sanction the bid by Paris Saint-Germain for the Nigerian.
Osimhen had regularly been presented as Paris Saint-Germain’s number 1 target to replace Kylian Mbappé, a purely fictitious story according to an insider.
Aurelio de Laurentiis showed off his skills last winter by extending the contract of his star striker with a nice pay rise, the President of Napoli was being convinced that the clubs would fight for Osimhen.
De Laurentiis especially thought that PSG would come and get the man who now has a release clause of €130 million. Except that Paris Saint-Germain has not made the slightest offer to Napoli, where Antonio Conte wants to bring in Romelu Lukaku to succeed the Nigerian star.
The deal is therefore completely at a standstill, to the great dismay of the Italian club, and the transfer market should not expect a last-minute offer from PSG, as the Parisian interest would be nothing more than a pure fantasy.
An insider who is always very well informed about the behind-the-scenes of Paris Saint-Germain, Djamel claims that the Spaniard is not at all a fan of Victor Osimhen, and that it is the latter who dreams of signing for PSG.
“Lucho doesn’t really like Osimhen, he’s not the one pushing for this transfer,” explains @Djaameel on the social network X.
Report has also been confirmed in Italy, Paris Saint-Germain is no longer interested in signing the Napoli striker, as any possibility of the transfer will not be done with PSG, rather Chelsea who could be tempted by the arrival of the former Lille player, especially since Napoli wants Romelu Lukaku. Not enough to please Aurelio de Laurentiis who will not receive the €130 million he dreamed of. A lesson for the boss of Naples who is often very skilled in the transfer window, but not on this one.
