PSG’s main Ligue 1 challengers Marseille travel away to Rennes this Sunday evening at a sold-out Roazhon Park. Les Phocéens will try to avoid a third consecutive loss in all competitions as it has been a wretched week so far for the Igor Tudor-led side. First, they were humbled at home by PSG in a season-deciding Classique. On Wednesday, they suffered a shock Coupe de France exit at the hands of Ligue 2 minnows Annecy.

Marseille can now only reasonably aim for a second place finish to secure Champions League qualification for next season. For this mouth-watering game against a resurgent fifth-placed Rennes side, Tudor won’t be able to count on centre-back Samuel Gigor, still on path to recovery after picking up a ankle sprain. But the Croatian manager is expected to rely on Cengiz Ünder, who served his one-game suspension against Annecy. Rennes v Marseille will kick-off tonight at 8:45 pm local time.

Marseille likely lineup against Rennes

Pau López – Jonathan Clauss, Chancel Mbemba, Eric Bailly, Sead Kolašinac, Nuno Tavares – Valentin Rongier, Jordan Veretout – Cengiz Ünder, Ruslan Malinovskyi – Alexis Sánchez
