The match became complicated for PSG after Ney's expulsion in the 62nd minute of the game, when Racing de Strasbourg had managed to equalize against the capital team with a goal and an own goal by Marquinhos.
There were two consecutive yellow cards for Neymar: the first for placing his hand on Thomasson's face when the ball was his and the second for a simulation that Clement Turpin considered worthy of a caution.
However, Kylian Mbappé saved the day in the end and secured the victory for the leader of Ligue 1 by converting a penalty (90+6).
With this victory, the Parisian team has 44 points, eight more than the second-place team, Lens, who will visit Nice (9th) on Thursday.
