Manchester City defender is charged with eight counts of rape, one of attempted rape, and another of sexual assault. This is what the victims of the football player have recounted.

The situation of Benjamin Mendy is getting more complicated. Although the still footballer of Manchester City insists on declaring himself innocent of several charges of sexual assault against women, details of the attacks attributed to the Frenchman continue to come to light. In this regard, Timothy Cray, the prosecutor handling the case of the former player of AS Monaco, has revealed the 'modus operandi' to satisfy his lowest instincts. And it is nothing less than the 'panic rooms', the place where the defender would have committed three sexual abuses in one night.

During the trial held last Monday in the Crown Court of Chester, the prosecutor accused Mendy of keeping several of his victims isolated and without mobile phones in locked 'panic rooms'. All this in the footballer's mansion in Mottram St Andrew (Cheshire).

According to Cray, the footballer, and his friend Louis Saha Matturie, who is also involved in the investigations, took the mobile phones from the women because "Mendy did not want Pep Guardiola to see him on Instagram with a lot of girls." Two of the witnesses claim rapes in those rooms and felt they were locked inside.

It is precisely in the 'panic rooms' where three rapes would have occurred in one night. The prosecutor explained that the Manchester City footballer would not have had mercy on his victims, a fact that has led Timothy Cray to qualify him as a "sexual predator."

As a reminder, Mendy allegedly committed these crimes against seven young women between October 2018 and August of last year when he was arrested. The club suspended him shortly after he was arrested and the first charges against him were known, and then confirmed that they will not comment on the case until the "process is complete."

The French defender, World Cup champion in Russia 2018, has played 50 Premier League matches since joining City in 2017, coming from Monaco, and has worn his country's shirt 10 times.
