One of the issues to be resolved at PSG in the coming days is the appointment of a new head coach. Mauricio Pochettino, in the face of the imminent announcement of Luis Campos as sports advisor, will leave as head coach.

PSG has had Zinedine Zidane in mind as his replacement, although - for now - the Frenchman has said "no," according to European media. In light of this, German coach Joachim Löw is one of the names being mentioned to take the reins at Parc des Princes.

Bild, a German newspaper, mentions that Löw is viewed favorably by a large part of PSG's leadership. "They are keeping a close eye on the German coach," the German media mentions.

Furthermore, it adds that the former coach of the German national team, who won the 2014 World Cup, is willing to come out of his long rest (he has not been coaching since 2021) after leaving the technical direction of his country.

"I want to coach a team again. It would be fun for me. There have been offers that I will analyze in the coming weeks," he said last May.

However, it will not be easy for PSG to get rid of the services of Mauricio Pochettino. The South American strategist has a contract until 2023 and would have to pay him 15 million euros if he is dismissed.

That is why meetings will be held between both parties to reach an agreement. The club is not willing to pay that amount for his departure.

Joachim Löw coached the German national team from 2006 to 2021, where he won a World Cup and a Confederations Cup.

Prior to that, he managed Austria Vienna, Wacker Innsbruck, Adanaspor, Karlsruher, Fenerbahce, Stuttgart, and FC Frauenfeld.
