The Transfer Market Continues for FC Barcelona

The transfer market continues for FC Barcelona. After losing Neymar and Bernardo Silva in the span of one week, the Catalan club is now focusing on reinforcing other key positions in the institution, although not necessarily with players. One of those who joins the team from the City Condal is Anderson Luis de Souza, better known as Deco, whose appointment as the new sporting director of the Catalan club was made official on Wednesday. His appointment came on the same day that the definitive farewell of the football director, Mateu Alemany, was also confirmed.

Deco, who had been working closely with Alemany for months in planning the squad for this season, has signed a three-year contract and thus becomes the new trusted man of president Joan Laporta in the sports area.
