MADRID -- Kepa Arrizabalaga passed the medical examination at Sanitas La Moraleja University Hospital, before being presented as the goalkeeper of Real Madrid, on loan from Chelsea to cover the absence of Thibaut Courtois due to a serious knee injury.
Kepa, a 28-year-old Spanish international goalkeeper, was close to being signed by Real Madrid in 2017 from Athletic Club, but Zinedine Zidane stopped his arrival. Currently, he arrives with the approval of Carlo Ancelotti on a loan without a purchase option from Chelsea.
Before his presentation at Ciudad Real Madrid, the Basque goalkeeper went to Sanitas La Moraleja University Hospital to undergo the necessary medical examination. According to the club, he passed it satisfactorily.
