The priority of FC Barcelona in the next season is to compete for the UEFA Champions League title, after suffering painful eliminations in recent years. To achieve this, they need to make signings to reinforce the team. According to Spanish media, the blaugrana team already has a new 'lever' to register new players and will announce it officially soon. It is the first of this summer and has to do with selling a significant portion of Barça Studios, the production company that encompasses all the club's audiovisual offerings.
According to El Confidencial, the president of Barça, Joan Laporta, reached an agreement with a German investment fund, which will acquire 16% of Barça Studios in exchange for 60 million euros. It is worth noting that Socios.com and Orpheus each acquired 24.5%. In this way, by each giving up 8%, they will only retain 16.5%.
