PUEDES VER: Kylian Mbappé near Real Madrid and David De Gea left Manchester United
The first media outlet to break the news was Globoesporte. One of the most important sports portals in Brazil reported that the Spanish team accepted the terms of the negotiation and the 18-year-old forward will remain in the Curitiba club until January 2024, and then join Barcelona.
How were the negotiations for the million euro transfer?
As indicated by the important Brazilian media, the negotiations began three days ago, when Alexandre Mattos, executive of Paranaense, traveled to Spain to meet with Deco, current executive of FC Barcelona.
According to reports, the 'culé' team paid 74 million euros, which includes the fixed price, an additional bonus for performance, and the payment of taxes and fees established by Spanish and Brazilian laws. The contract will be valid until June 2029, with a release clause of 1 billion euros.
It is worth mentioning that Athletico Paranaense will retain 20% of the player's sports rights in the event of a future sale, and Barcelona will have to pay 15% of the formation rights to América de Belo Horizonte.
