Carlo Ancelotti has once again made it clear that his word is law, especially if there is a contract involved. The Italian coach indicated that he still has a contract with Real Madrid until June 30, 2024 amid rumors placing him as the coach of the Brazilian National Team.
As it is known, the five-time world champion is in search of a coach to assume this important role for the start of the World Cup 2026 qualifiers, which will begin next September. And apparently, Ancelotti is no longer on the agenda after his latest statements.
"There is a beautiful saying that is relevant to this topic: the wind blows away the talk. And that's how it is. I have a contract until June 30, 2024, and I would like to fulfill it," said 'Carletto' in an interview with 'Radio Anch'io Sport' at 'Rai Radio 1'.
He also referred to the future as the coach of his son Davide. "He is finishing the UEFA Pro coaching course in Wales, he will finish in May and then he will be able to coach any team. It won't be Basel, because they feel good here and we want to stay. The day he wants to start on his own, I think he will do it well," he added.
