Barcelona, who beat Real Madrid 1-3 at the Rey Fahd stadium in Riyadh on Sunday, won their fourteenth Spanish Super Cup in history and extended their lead over the white team to two titles.
The Barcelona team won their first crown under the current format of the final phase competition with four teams, and their second title won outside of Spain. They won the 2018 Super Cup, played as a single match in Tangier (Morocco) against Sevilla (2-1), with a goal from the Frenchman Ousmane Dembele in the 78th minute.
That was the last Super Cup that Barcelona had won. They have won their other titles in the years 1983, 1991, 1992, 1994, 1996, 2005, 2006, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, and 2016.
