Real Madrid is characterized by being a winning team and many classify it as the best in the world. The merengue team has managed to have a good youth academy throughout its history, but it has also made great signings, such as Ronaldo in 2002, Cristiano Ronaldo in 2010, Luka Modric in 2012, and more.

However, in addition to hiring established stars, it has also set its sights on young talents. Among its latest signings are Camavinga, who arrived at the age of 19 in 2021; Rodrygo, at 16 in 2018, the year in which Vinicius Junior was signed at the age of 18. In that sense, Madrid would have another great bet with Endrick, the star forward of Palmeiras.

Who is Endrick?

Born in Brasilia on July 21, 2006, Endrick Felipe is a left-footed center forward who arrived at Palmeiras because his father uploaded videos of the goals his son scored in the neighborhood team to social media.

At the age of 11, he joined Verdao in 2017 and, during his five-year stay in the youth academies, he scored a total of 165 goals in the 169 matches he played.

On October 6, 2022, he made his debut in the first division against Coritiba and, weeks later, on the 25th of the same month, he scored his first goal against Athletico Paranaense. In this way, he became the youngest player in Palmeiras history to score a goal, at 16 years, four months, and three days old.

Endrick close to Real Madrid

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Brazilian striker is of interest to several teams in Europe, but the White House would have a certain advantage over the others.

“Real Madrid now leads the race to sign Endrick, as reported in recent days. Official negotiations are underway with Palmeiras regarding the €60 million fee, including add-ons,” he wrote on his official Twitter account.

Regarding the other clubs that covet him, he mentioned that “PSG and Chelsea remain in the race” and that “there are no concrete talks with FC Barcelona, but Real is ahead”.
