Cecilia Barraza is a Peruvian singer and interpreter of Creole music who was born on November 5, 1952. She started her career at the age of 18 on the program Trampolín a la Fama, which was hosted by the remembered Peruvian host Augusto Ferrando.

After her outstanding performances on stage, Chabuca Granda became her mentor, which helped her improve and have important tours in the United States and cities in Europe, such as Madrid, Barcelona, Geneva, Paris, Munich, Rome, and London.
